Good afternoon
I am very new to QlikView and have hit a stumbling block already.
I have a simple group of 3 linked tables - InvLines, Product and Calendar. the InvLines and Product table are linked by the Product Code and the Calendar table links to the date on the InvLines table.
I have managed to create my list boxes with my years, months and qtrs on. I have also created a table with all the necessary data in it.
I now want to create a graph so that I can compare the sales volume total for each product code by month, LY vs TY, as well as by Group and Sub Group.
My problem is working out how to total the sales volume for each product and then using those figures to give sales volumes by Group and Sub Group.
I have a feeling it should be a fairly simple calculation but it's not making sense. I can total the number of invoice lines per code but not the quantity.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please keep the steps simple so I can follow the process through.
Many thanks
Steve
Can you load your sample apps?
Hi Manish
Is it the QVW file you are asking about?
Regards
Steve
Yes.. You can reduce data or create a dummy data with you objects..
This will help a lot to solve the problem quickly.
Hi Manish
File attached. I'll be honest not too sure how to reduce the file size down.

Steve
Hi Manish
I do not expect you to do this all for me. I would just like to know the calculation / expression I need to enter to total up the sales volume of each code. My selections based on year and month should break down the totals as required.
Regards Steve
Hi
Anyone any ideas as to how I do this?
Thanks
