Can anyone explain me what is the use of trellis chart? When it can be used. ?What are the advantages of the trellis chart?

when you want to see several charts comparing one dimension with second dimnsion

for example you have one dimension  Month and Region

so you fix one dimension Month and see sevral charts for diffrent regions

A Trellis Chart is a layout of smaller charts in a grid with consistent scales. Each smaller chart represents an item in a category, named “conditions”. The data displayed on each smaller chart is conditional on items in the category.
