When you make a Table with Query Date, the Mini chart with dimension Query Date will show just one value, as the table you have column with Query Date.

To display trend you need multiple values across the dates.

When you put the trend for the 3 dates in pivot table with Dimension:Query Date already present(Query Date,Group,Count), it will plot just one dot for each day.

Probably if you year in dimension instead of Query Date, mini chart will work

Yeah,,Group,Count for this the mini chart will work

Query Date,Group, Count: Mini chart will show one dot as you are breaking the dates apart.

Add date in Equation

Remove Query Date from Dimension .

I am sorry but if you put 'Query Date' in 'chart dimension' and 'Query Date' also in 'Mini Chart Dimension', Your mini chart won't work.

Can someone confirm that there is no way I could show Query Date in the table along with trend.

If you connect your "QueryDate" field to a mastercalendar you will be able to show your expected output!

See attached qvw

Hope this helps!
