Hi,

Assuming that:

  • there is a macro in the QV file
  • the macro contains code to invoke EDX reload of document

Open the file in develoepr tool, and press the button to call the macro.

  • Does it work, or it stops in debugger at some point?
  • Is there correct job name ?
  • Is the job EDX-enabled ?
  • Are there hard coded username+passowrd ? Correct ones?
  • Is that user allowed to execute EDX jobs = member of QV admin group?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

The Qv File contains macro and also contains code to invoke EDX reload document.

This is working fine for some users where as for some users it is giving the error as attached.

Is it so that it works only for the users who are in the QV admin group in server?

I have got another work around which could help you solve the problem

1. Open your QVW file via Internet Explorer

2. Type Ctrl + Shift + M

3. Choose the option "Give System Access to Module Script" and click "OK".
