Trigger alert via Macro

Hi,

Is there possible to create a button and trigger the alert to send out emails?

Thanks. But I would like to achieved is when hit some values, then send to respective outlet manager. There is a option from Qlikview called Alert, but only trigger the event onOpen, onPostReload and onPostReduce.

From your requirements it's better to send e-mail OnPostReload. Because the data are no changed between reloads.

But OnPostReload doesn't work in the server environment. So you can use this approach

onPostReload Trigger,The Macro does Not Excecute at the time of Server Reload

and use windows scheduler.

To clarify. OnPostreload Alerts do run on Server. And those alerts can send email.

It is the OnPostReload Trigger that has problems in the server environment.
