Hi,
We currently have a qlik document that reloads every morning. However at certain times the developer require the document to be reloaded throughout the day. We do not give our Developers access to the document on our server, so they have to contact the Qlikview Administration Team (myself) to reload the document. However we have come up with the idea of creating a .bat file to allow the users to reload the document.
We want this to work by creating a bat file, that when run creates a file within a folder called TEST, and then we want to set the Qlikview Document to contactly scan the TEST folder, so when that file appears, the document will reload.
Does anyone know how we can achieve this?

Hi.
Maybe the EDX reload trigger is more useful than pooling the file ?
I am quite new to Qlikview Administration and im not sure if EDX is what we need.
Ok. If you find a solution easier than running a .bat file with one command that triggers the task on the server, post it here.
You can create a task that let say, every 5 minutos scan this folder and when the folder apper this task generate an error and this is the signal to continue the load.
