I have set Triggers OnOpen on in Document Properties to select the Max(Snapshot_Date) on first sheet.
This works perfectly on my QV client version. As soon as I publish the dashboard the Triggers are not working when accessing via Access Point.
I have set exactly the same set of Triggers on ActivateSheet - so if a user goes to another sheet and then back to the 1st sheet, the triggers work and will always select the Max(Snapshot_Date).
I do not want users to have to click on different sheet in order to see the Max(Snapshot_Date) on the first sheet.
Could you please help?
It may be the remembered state from session recovery. In AP, before opening the document, click the "View Details" and then "remove last document state".

Hi Tereza,
If you're using the Ajax Client, OnOpen doesn't function. I've read previously that if you use OnOpen to load a bookmark, however, then this can sometimes work.
this will give you all the info needed
Hi
Some of the trigger/Macro some time is not working in ajax Client (Full Browser Version). So request you use Internet Explore Plugin for checking it is working or not.
Thanks
It is really strange as I have older version of this application currently on Live server and the triggers work there
Could this relate also to the version of QV Server? I have tested this with QV 11 SR2...However, in the middle of upgrade to QV 11 SR9 - and the same application and the triggers still not work there.
Would you recommend any work around? So on open the date will be always set to max(Snapshot_Date)?

Rob, your solution has worked! Thank you!
Although still do not understand why QlikView has the option of on Open triggers if these then not work...
