I'm looking for a function:

my data is in this format: 32-GH-47 and i would like to quit the '-' caracter.

As well, how do i quit the space in a middle of '26 AK 25' ?

see QV help and look for PURGECHAR

purgechar ( 'a1b2c3','123' ) and you will get 'abc'
