Troubles with the -prj-folder

If I make a -prj folder and save my .qvw file, a .tmp file is made, but no .xml files are generated in the -prj folder. Instead the .qvw-file is not saved. Is this a known issue?

As a matter of fact, I really need the xml's to do some heavy find-and-replacing in numerous objects.

the windows are not in english. can you translate, instead of just giving print screens?
