here is what helped me a lot when i was new and still helps me - simply typing in what you want to learn about in the search on this page and you will see that you get past threads where there has already been excellent discussion on the topic. also, look for the document icon on the results, the documents have a lot of great information as well.
of course, from the thread above, the help within Qlikview has a lot of good information. another site which i really find useful is a site with lot of short demo videos of various aspects of qlikview...qlikshare.com. there are quite a few other sites too, but you can start off with this one. good luck.
