In the open URL action in the button properties, there seems to be a limit of 2048 characters that the URL can not exceed.  Is there a way to increase or change the URL number of characters limitation or remove the limitation all together?

that seems to be an issue with the browser not qlikview

Could you use a service like bit.ly to shorten the url?
