Unable to add calculate dimension

I tried to add calculate dimension to straight table in Chart. After I click [Add calculate dimension], the edit window didn't appear and the whole window of qlikview was frozen. I need to stop the process in task manager. Does anyone know what's the problem?

The edit expression dialog is appearing off of your screen.

Do you happen to use double monitors?  Make sure your settings know that you're only using one monitor if you're not.
