Unable to connect to database

hi

I am unable to connect database from qlikview , i am using windows 8 qlikview 64 bit version , i tried to connect to Oracle or SQL it is showing errors can u plz help how to connect to database

Can you pls make sure that your system has access to the Database system? No firewall issues from your system to database.

Has the Windows Account that you are logged in with been granted permission to access the SQL Server Database?

Hi,

This version number doesn't look right - it returns no results when searching the Microsoft site. For example, my 32-bit SQL Server driver is version 2000.85.1132.00. If you go to the ODBC Administrator and look at the drivers tab, scroll down to SQL Server and check the Version, Company, File and Date.

Also, Shared Memory suggests the databases and Qlikview are installed on the same machine - is this the case? If not, look at configuring TCP/IP or Named Pipes (look for the Client Configuration button when setting up/amending the DSN).
