Unable to open my own QVDs

Hi all

Apologies in adavance for a question that I can see has been asked a few times

I have installed QlikView Desktop (Personal Edition) and worked my way through all of the available training, without problems. The software is installed on my laptop, which is not networked, and it is the only version that I have worked on.

The problem occurred this morning where I can no longer open my own documents. I create a new doc, save it, close it and when I try and re-open it I get the message about not being able to open somebody elses docs without using one of my 4 restores.

As of yet, I haven't used a restore and I am working on the same instance of QlikView that I have since the beginning of the week.

Can anyone tell me what the cause of this may be, and if there is a solution - other that buying a license (which I don't need whilst I am investigating the product)

Thanks

Anthony

Hi Jason

Thanks for the reply

I had seen that, but wanted to see if there was an official reason / fix rather than registry hacking

If that is the only suggestion then I will give it a go
