Updating existing variables with new data

Hi,

I have to update a list of existing variables and I am unable to do that. I went to 'Variable Overview' under Settings tab and tried updating the variable but I am unable to do that. I have attached screen shots for better explanation. I believe something is reverting the updates to the variables.

Hi Sagar,

Im not quite sure of your problem - when does it "rest the value?

1) After document reload?

2) After you have edited the variable in variable overview and press ok. And then open the variable overview again?

If its the first case - have you tried searching the load script for "vNormalHrs"?

Appreciate the quick response.

So when i made the changes in variable overview and opened it again, it reverts back to the old number and does not store my expression.

Hi Sagar,

Sometimes when I just change the value in the variable overview window, it does not save my changes. Have you tried to "open" the variable-definition to make you changes?

Or do you perhaps have a trigger that changes the variable?

Yes I have tried opening the variable definition window, still no change.

Sounds very strange - you do not have any triggers / macros / variable restrictions that causes the change?
