Hi All
We have version nine editions on the development client machines and also have a server licence that shows the client build number 9.0.5......
We can access the access point from out intranet and all is working fine, but we want to upgrade to version 11.
My question is?
Do we just upgrade the local machines with version 11?
Any help would be appreciated before we consider this, thanks
Martin
The question you need to answer is if you want to upgrade the server. If you decide to do so, then you should have the desktop developer machines on the same version as the server, in order to ensure that the QVW you develop works in the server version.
Before upgrading from version 9 to 11, it is recommended that you install version 11 on one machine in order to evaluate how your QlikView applications appear and function in version 11. There are big differences between version and 11, so you might also want to test the server edition before upgrading your production environment.
Fantastic,
Thanks for your help and i will take your advice
Kind Regards
Martin
