Upload flat file from qlikview dashboard to qlikview server

Hi All,

We have one requirement where user can able to upload any kind of data file to qlikview server location where we store our other qvd files from dashboard.

Is this achievable? any suggestions can help.

theoritically yes. but practically i would advise putting such files in a network drive accessible to qlikview server and the users

There is nothing clean for uploads in QV itself, I suggest you do this outside of QV. You can use any type of upload method -- file copy, FTP, etc -- that meets the security and infrastructure requirements of your environment.  

This is a fairly common requirement, for example to allow an authorized business user to update a grouping spreadsheet or publish some new numbers at month-end.
