Hi Guys,
Can someone help me understand on how i can figure out the usage of a dashboard. I have enabled audit logging on the server already. I am trying to find out which are the reports the users have accessed. I am able to figure out what are the selections the users have made and who all have used the send to excel option and all.
But what i am looking for is as below.
If a user logs in and does not make any selections and just opens up a report (pivot table or straight table which is in minimized state by default). Can i get this information from the audit log.
Thanks in advance.
Aadil
Hi Janaki, you are welcome.
Good ideas here.
Also consider using the Governance Dashboard. It's a Qlik-supported tool that you can download from Qlik Market http://market.qlik.com/qlikview-governance-dashboard.html
I am working towards the release of v2.0 which is easier to use (no install!) and has improved Audit logging reporting to make it easier to track usage and activity. Let me know if you'd like access to the Beta!

From the Sessions > User Activity page of the Governance Dashboard 2.0. Audit details at the bottom - in a pivot table so you can rearrange and collapse / expand as you'd like.
Lynda - You can also get that detail on the "Log Details" page of the Governance Dashboard 2.0 - (I know I'm responding to an old conversation!)
Use the chart as is or modify to suit your needs
You all (on this thread) now have access to the Governance Dashboard 2.0 beta:
Hi Martyn,
Can you share the usage tracking app you created. We need same details you are displaying on your dashboard for our use case.
Thanks,
Krishna
