I need to use the "-- +ORDERED" directive in my select-statment. QV doesnt accept the directive

If i skip the "-- +ORDERED"-directive the select-stmt SEEMS to work but needs hours to finish (never waited till the end). If I add the directive (to shorten that time) I get an error saying: "ODBC read failed" followed by the select-stmt...
