I do not think that is possible just as you wrote it. What I usually do is connecting several QlikView Documents through actions, for example, sometimes the detailed information is so heavy that is not worth dislaying that to the user at once, so what we do is building a high level analysis application for the information so the users can select exactly the chunk of data they really want to see in detail, this way you can put a button to open another qlikview app and pass the selection the user made in the first app. That's the most common way of interacting betwwen QV app's.
