User access his own data

Hi,

I am new to this. If I have set of data in a DB for all customer to access, how are we going to let the user access his data only but not others. We currently using AD but only for internal. We have no plan add client to AD. We want something which is easy to manage when the client count increase. A sample if there is which is easy for me to review it.

Thanks,

Kenny

Hi Kenny,

It's pretty straight forward. Please use Section Access without the data reduction. This way QlikView checks the authenticated windows users to see if they are part of the list. They will have access in the form of ALL or NOTHING. I'm attaching a simple document about Section Access and this should help.

Good luck!

Cheers,

DV

Hi,

Try Section Access Concept in Qlikview to restrict the access of data.  Check this link

Introduction to Section Access

Hope it helps you.
