Using Extension instead to create an Excel Export

Hi All,

My intension is to have a feature in QlikView to export multiple Qlikview objects into a single Excel from Access Point (Plug In). I have done this through macro and it works well from QlikView desktop.

However, there are so many post that mention macro should be avoided and it often has problem when deployed through QlikView publisher. I've not yet tested whether my QV app with this macro works when deployed to server and user accessing through Access Point will not have problem.

I would like ask if you think such a macro should still work in Access Point or it can be converted to the use of Qlikview Extension? Also, what are the considerations that I should watch out. Thx ahead for any advice.

rgds,

Nickson

Hello Nickson,

While opening the documents which have macros in that we have always check like below on the access point .

Allow any Macro (only for trusted documents)
