Using IE Plugin drag and drop the data to excel

Hello All,

My requirement is create one global report in QV and then filter based on customer, using IE Plugin drag and drop the report and send it to the concerned customer.

I am facing the blow problems.

1) In a Pivot table after filtering the particular customer when I drag and drop to excel the whole data is visible in excel(that is Global Data), I want the filtered data only in the excel file, I have used Lock option no use. Any suggestions how to achive it.

2) Not able to drag and drop the charts to excel.

If the drag and drop isn't a direct request u can use the native export to excel.

With drag and drop u move the object and than excel links to the original qv file to use his engine.

Thanks for your reply, I can drag and drop the pivot table but the problem is all customer data is going to excel after filtering the data and export to excel I can not use because it shows like a normal table.

If u want to filter after file trasfert or u click in the table of excel, or u have to drag and drop other field like customer also. So in the excel clicking the fiedl you can modify the table.

Greetings to All,

Finally I have drag and drop it from Qv to Excel, the problem is in Qv I have selected one value and when I drag and drop it all the values that is the entire pivot table is in the excel, in QV i have selected and put lock also but the result is same.

I have attached a sample excel file in my orginal post, before drag and drop I selected "Apple only" but you can see all are avaialble.

Is that any way to control it once If I select in QV that value should be available in Excel.
