Using Qlikview test server licence leasing for development

Hi,

We have recently got the test server licences from qlikview, In the test server licence leasing option is not available. Whats the best way to use the test server where multiple developers can work and update the files and reports. please sugget.

I think it depends on your installation, so the best way to know this is to contact your QlikView representative and ask for them, if any. Have you checked whether you have some user CALs or document CALs?

The Test server should be used to confirm that your connectivity and tasks are correct, and that the delivered document looks and behaves as expected in Ajax, Plugin, etc. The Test LEF may be useful when testing software upgrades too. It is not intended for document Development.

You could perform Development on your Test host, but you'll need to elevate your QlikView Desktops from Personal to Professional Edition using a CAL borrowed from the Production environment.
