Using variables in an expression in a table

Hello

I have a table in excel (see attachment) .  I have loaded it into QlikView and am trying to work out how I can get the column GroupNosVar to bring back the rows containing the variables

Just wondering what the expression would be.  I have tried the below but it didn't work

=$(='$(='&GroupNosVar&')')

I can get it so that the table presents the variable in the column GroupNosVar but it doesn't calculate the underlying value
