Hi Sunny,

When i run a sample numbers i am able to display the %, just by writing a simple expression sum(x)/sum(total(x)). But, when my colleague tried in the same way in the server (i don't have access to) he is not able to display the % for some reason (he is able to display % but the actual pie not displayed).

In the scenario we are displaying % as legend (not idle). Do you think is there a work around it?

Karthik

Pie charts cannot display negative amounts/percentages.

Can you post a screenshot of what really is displayed in the AccessPoint document? They say that a picture is worth a 1000 words...

Best,

Peter

Hi,

First try this in Straight table and check whether is there any negative values in it?  If there are negative values then the chart won't populate.  To overcome this we can use below methods

=Fabs(Your expression)  --- It will convert negative to positive numbers

=If(YourExpression > 0, YourExpression)   -- This will exclude negative numbers conditionally.

Based on your requirement chose which you want to implement.

Jagan.

That works for me.  Is there a way to display the value and the relative percentage side by side?

Also,

I would like for the really small values to NOT display (they all seem to get squished as they overwrite one another) - is there a way to restrict the valus that are displayed?
