Trying to display buttons that would apply filters to my variables. Checked out videos incl. 'Variable input extension - Qlik Sense', where it seems very straightforward (https://help.qlik.com/en-US/video/w5dTLv8XU50)
Problem:
When I try to 'Select the variable' from the drop down (0'50''), I can't access all my variables and only see 'name, index, currentName, matches'. In my data, one of my columns is named 'Dates' and contains years ('2010', '2011', ...). I was expecting to be able to select 'Dates' in the 'Select the variable', and then add '2011' as a fixed value below.
