Variable onchange event not working

Hi All,

I need help regarding the variable onchange event under Document Settings->Triggers.

Problem statement is: I have a chart which gets displayed upon selecting a specific value in the dropdown. I want all the previous selections to get cleared when i open that chart. For that purpose i created a variable and changed its value upon selecting the dropdown. And on the variables onchange event i have added a trigger to clear the field but the field is not getting cleared upon the onchange event rather if i manually change the value through variable overview or input box it works.

Please help.

Hi Saima,

Check using Action "Clear Field" in case if you are using "Clear other Field".

If above doesn't work, please check if "Clear All" action responds to the change in variable value.

Please also make sure that your variable value is actually getting changed. Let me know if that helps.

I am using Clear Field. I tried with Clear All also but that also doesn't work.

Please suggest something else.

IS there any set clear state set for your drop down? Can you send some screen shots of the issue or share a sample app?
