Ver 11 Pivot Table Formatting

Using a pivot table in version 11.  When formating Dimension text for bold ='<b>' , it works only if there is data in the top cell closest to the header.  If the cell is empty, the bold formatting is gone.  I have attached a screen shot of the table.

Try this instead:

1) Turn on the design grid (View > Design Grid)

2) Right-click on a cell value in your chart and select "Custom Format Cell"

3) In the window that pops up, select the Bold checkbox
