Vertical Cell Borders in Multi-Column Listbox

I have created multi-column listboxes without borders and I can't find how to turn off vertical cell borders.  In the ajax client I am getting borders on the right side of the list boxes and they look like stray lines.

How can I change that property for a listbox?
