Vertical scale text

I'm using a gage as a vertical scale, with a limit, with two reference lines; Prior year, and Goal.  The text for the Measure shows up on the same side of the scale, and overlaps with the Prior Year value.  It could also overlap the Goal value.

Is there a way to offset the text, or change which side of the gauge the text appears, i.e. values on the right, and references on the left?
