Want sample QVW file of drill down with functionalty

Hi Forums/Friends,

Can I please get the sample QVW file of drill down example. i.e on clicking on particular value in dashboard/list box of Main QVW

it should call/open the other QVW(child QVW)/Tab with the related data only which is passed as parameter(clicking on particular value on dashboard/List Box).

I hope I had explained the scenarion.

Hi Ashfaq,

Thanks for reply. But I am looking some what more in dept.

For Eg I had 2 Table with data Table named as follows:-

Table Part

DEPT having 2 field Dept_no, Dept_name, Number_Emp.

EMP having 2 field Emp_no, Emp_name, Emp_sal, Dept_no.

Dept_no is Linking colum between DEPT and EMP Tables

Dashboard Part

Parent_QVW File (Having Bar Graph Dashboardparent in one of the sheet)

Showig Bar Dept_no, Number_Emp

Child_QVW File(Having Bar Graph Dashboardchild in one of the sheet)

Showig Bar Emp_name, Emp_sal

Now, I want On Clicking on the Dashboardparent of Parent QVW on particular bar of Dept_no assume

I had clicked on value 11(Finance Dept code).

Then it should take to the sheet where Dashboardchild is found in Child_QVW file with the related

data where Dept_no = 11 only.

I hope I able to explaine the scenario
