Syntax is:- Store YourTable into YourTable.qvd;

Hi,
A QVD (QlikView Data) file is a file containing a table of data. The data is extracted from the different data sources you are pulling the data from. These files can only be written to and read by QlikView. They are used to provide faster data loads, scheduled data loads can also be done. Also they allow larger data sets to be used.

Hi,
Mostly the qvd files are the part of the ETL process which will be done for cleans the data and by the help of the QVD we are able to load data fastly and it is compact in the size also. Yes QVD are the only files which can be used by qlikview only and it is created by qlikview.
