What does Take Snapshot option in Notes exactly do in Access Point?

Hello,

Can anybody please clarify for me what exactly does the Take Snapshot option in Notes do when you are adding notes/comments in Access Point?

It seems as though it remember which filters you applied, where as I thought it takes a static snapshot of what the data looked like at the time you took the snapshot.

Can anyone tell me what it actually please as I have mixed understanding

I am talking about Take Snapshot option in a QlikView application when you access it from Access Point.

This is when you want to add notes to comment on some chart for example.

This will help the end user to fill their comments or changes there. With help of those we can modify the dashbaord in desktop. Bcoz they will not have access and knowledge  to QVW right.
