Please clarify the following points in what-if analysis
Detail of the Scenario
We are planning to use what-if analysis functionality for sales budgeting purpose, we have 3 different Area manager's to focus on different part of UAE, Each area manager will propose the budget for up-coming year based in current or last year achieved sales figures to the Sales General Manager
We have created a single application which will be accessed by 4 users (3 Area Manager & 1 Sales GM)
Individual area manger login into the application and look at the last and current year achieved sales and apply what-if analysis by inputting the figures manually not the scroll bar option.
The issues which we are facing is
Sales General Manager is not able to see the proposed growth of Area Manager (we feel system is storing the what-if details in individual area manager PC but not in server), Please clarify
We want to restrict the What-if facility to Sales General Manager, Please advice how to do this?
We want to use Scroll Bar option for % growth instead manual input ( but we have different level of % growth for different Brand items), please advice how to achieve this in Qlikview

Where you are sotring the file,is it on the server or on the local system,if it is on the server then also you have to store the changed data in some form then you can show it to the GM

Using the section access you can restrict the user to look at some of the tabs , by doing that yo can only allow the GM to do the what_if Analysis

you can create your own excel sheet and this works as data for different Brand items, this way you can show % growth from the pre defined fields.
1. Application is stored in server, all users are accessing thru browser or file open in server method, users does not have option to save as they are accessing from server, changes(.i.e. % growth) of the document is being saved automatically

I don't understand your proposal, let me clarify again, we have 4 different brands being soled by 3 different area, each area manager when login to application he will see all the brands together with last year and current year sales figures, then he will select BRAD1 and apply the % growth for 30%, then again BRAD2 apply growth for 35%, etc... , note, he may further go drill down to the month and product level or decrease or increate the percentage, all what we want is applying the growth should be using scroll bar option instead inputting manually, can this be done?
