What if Analysis

Hello,

Can you be more specific, like what are you exactly looking for ?

If you mean the input fields (as your tags may suggest), this is set from the script, and allows the user to input values.

If you're talking about the what-if concept, it's a way to make some factors of a formula variable based on user choice in order to see the change effect on the result of the formula compared to the real/actual result.

A common example of a what-if analysis would be the profit margin, where sales price, sales quantity and sales cost constitute the variable part, and the profit margin would be the result of this simulation compared to the real profit margin.

I also suggest you download the Sales Compass qvw file from qlik demos page so you can check how it has been built.

And the Executive Dashboard qvw under Qlik Demos: See QlikView in Action | Demo.Qlik.Com

Both of these documents are also installed on your computer with QlikView and can be found under C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Documents.

Hi Aamir,

It is multibox, try like this

Create New Object -> Multibox -> Select the Field to Display and Click ok.

Now Multibox Properties -> Caption Tab and deselect Show Caption option.

Hope this helps you.

Jagan.
