Hey,
What is Mekko chart and what is the difference between bar and Mekko chart?
Thanks
hi
Mekko Chart is similar to the stack bar chart but additionally it shows the relativity among the different stack categories with the increased or decreased width. This will help in identifying the strongness or weakness of a particular category.
Also, see the "Data Visualization.qvw" example provided with QV10 and QV11.The 'Ratio' sheet contains a Mekko chart.
With the above description by arul settu , this example may help in understanding the makko chart better.
HEy,
Can you plz tell me how does this mekko chart differ from Bar Chart ??

Hi Nikhil,
Mekko charts:
Charts are graphical representations of numerical data. It is possible to switch different representations of an existing chart, by changing the chart type in the Chart Properties.
Mekko charts present data using variable width bars. They can display up to three level of data in a two-dimensional chart. Mekko charts are useful in such areas as market analysis.
Bar chart expressed the value of data in only one dimensions that is height but in Mekko chart, value of the data can be expressed in both dimensions that is height and weight.
Hope this information will be helpful.
Thanks
