		HEy Allesandro ,
But Publisher is only responsible for distributing and publishing the documents(.qvw) . Right ??
Can you please tell me the flow how both publisher and distribution service works please.
Thanx.

		Hi,
have a look at below post
http://community.qlik.com/thread/131692
As I say you need to have training to start with.
Just start with free training available by Qlik.
Please close the threads if it answer your concern.

Publisher is an upgraded license for QlikView Server, no more software installs are necessary. It basically gives enterprise level environment and solution management such as distributing different versions of an app to different users.
The distribution service is the engine which does the work of Publisher.

		Hey MAthew,
SO you mean to say that , Distribution and publishing service is done by DIstribution Service which is part of Publisher . Right ??

In a very simplistic sense yes. Obviously it's a little more complex in reality but thinking of it in that way when you are new to QV is the best way to start.
Don't think though that if you don't have Publisher then you can disable the distribution service.

Hi Nikhil,
QlikView distribution service is responsible for the preparation, reload & distribution of the QlikView files.
