What is loosen table and link table?

QlikView automatically creates a loosely coupled table when it finds a circular loop in the data model. Loosely Coupled table is a table which breaks the relation between the fields of the table so that the circular loop will be broken.

Link table is used when you have more than one fact table so that the common fields in the table will be referred from the link table.

Hi Anil,

  Loosen Table is table with out connected to any table. I mean to say no link between this table and other table. but it's using this table for some purppose.

  LinkTable is basically combination table. For example i am having the actual region sales data and budget data as two tables. In these tables some of regions you may not find actual's which it's having data in budget and either way around. Now if i want output table as budget and actual side by side. will cretae a link table with the combination of Actual and Budget Regions.
