Hi Guys,
Please some one can explain What is "Allow Session Collaboration " and "Allow Server Annotations " and their use on Server-->Documents
Hi,
If you want to share your dashboard to any other user who is not using qlikview or don't have qlikview id.
then you send them your session link by entering their mailids.
when the other person click at link( which you have send ) your dashboard screen will show to them.
that users also click any fields and you will see same selection.
its using for meeting purpose mostly.
Go to Documents tab->user documents->select your application ->
it will work in azax only(Chrome, mozila etc).
when you will open your application in azax(chrome) ,at right hand you will look one option SHARE SESSION
click here and enter mail id of user send .
tell to user open that link and look.
To allow users to share sessions on documents, tick this check box. To deny users to share sessions on documents, untick this check box.
To enable server annotations, that is, to let clients present annotations for sheet objects in the documents, and to allow users to view, write, edit, and delete annotations, tick this check box. To disable server annotations, untick this check box.

Hi Gupta,
Thanks for response.
Will Allow Session Collaboration take more than one CALL? Or It uses only one call and can share same session to more than one people? There is any limitation for number of people (10,20..) to join?
Annotation created by one user will be available to others also? Is there any impact on performance if we allow Allow Server Annotations?
Hi,
there is no CAL uses only who is sending the session that person has valid CAL.
ya you can send one session to multiple people.
No there is no issue in performance after clicking at allow server annotations, its helpful in troubleshooting also.
