What is user data reduction?

What is meant by "user data reduction" in QV and how to do this.

Hi,

basically it is an option to omit data that isn't related to the user. For example if your qvw has data from different companies and you user is allowed to only see data from his respective company, you can use the 'user data reduction' to filter out the data from the other companies.

There is a topic on this in QlikView v10 Reference Manual, chapter 26.8.
