What's the difference between using a Flag field vs using Set Analysis?

Hi,

I have the following table:

You can see in the examples I am using three simple expressions.

What is the difference between using a flag field in Set Analysis vs using the flag field directly in a Measure?

I seem to get the same result when I make selections so I am not sure what would be the difference.
