Which book to buy - challenging but not TOO challenging

Mastering QlikView Paperback

Practical QlikView Paperback

QlikView Scripting Paperback

Practical Qlikview 2 - Beyond Basic Qlikview

Iam leaning towards

Practical Qlikview 2 - Beyond Basic Qlikview.

Hard to know what you want when you cannot physcally "flick the pages" ...

Hi Josephine,

so I assume you are already through "QlikView 11 for Developers"? That is the first book that I would recommend. It helps you get started with QlikView and after that it takes you quite far if you use it as a reference manual.

I can only say that I have read "Mastering QlikView" and it doesn't really cover anything that the former one hasn't covered.

I have heard someone here in the Community say approx. the same about "QlikView Scripting".

I think the best source of information is this Community anyway, but books do have their advantages.

I hope that helps you a little bit.

Says "Currently not available" at the Bookdepository ...   That' why it was not on my list.  Did it get up to dashboards?

I'd suggest the QlikView for Developers Cookbook

Full of great ideas and not as heavy as some books.

I wouldnt recommend Practical QlikView2. I would put QlikView 11 for Developers as #1, Mastering QlikView as #2 and QlikView for Developers Cookbook as #3.

Thank you Peter, Manish, bill and Data Nibbler

I am sure I got more responses but they seem to be hidden from my interface.

Looks like the Qlikview 11 ofr Developers is the way to go - and I might wait for the Bookdepository to get some copies in or ... packt.com (but I do like paper ... and anyway the Luddites were right

Thank you
