Why can't I use full area to develope app on QV screen?

Hi,

Can some one tell me , Why can't I use full area to develope app on QV screen?  I have seen many demos of Qlik using only left half of screen area to build QV app. Why can't we use full screen?

I'm able to use the full screen area of my monitor. So, I have no idea what you're talking about.

I mean , we allowed to. take a look at attached Qlik demo screenshot. Here much space is left with out being used. Is these any resolution issue for not using this area? Just curious why not using all the screen area became a practice for all qlik demos.

Because not everybody has a screen as large as yours. It's a practice to design for a resolution that's most common. That way people using for example ipads can look at the demo's too. See this blog post: Designing for the new Resolution

This dashboard is designed in a different resolution and you are using bit higher resolution.
