Why selected fields are grayed out?

Hi All,

Can any explain me about,

I have loaded the qvd into Qlikview ,then I reloaded , after reload I can able to see the fields, however, among them some fields are grayed out. can any one explain me why those fields are grayed out?

can you provide screenshots of the problem you are facing.

are you referring to the field values being grayed out or the $Field is showing some fields names in gray?

Unassociated fields are grayed out. People some times refer to this as the "Power of Gray", see :
