Could someone help me understand how the Qlik licensing and access works in the following scenario.
I have a windows AD group called ABC created specifically for 8 users to access the dashboard XYZ. Windows AD group has 3 NAMED CAL users and 5 session CAL users.
My Question is -
In QMC, If the User Type under distribute is selected as "NAMED CAL USERS" for the dashboard XYZ and the Windows AD group ABC is added to it - What happens to the 5 session CAL users under the group. Will they have access to the dashboard?
If the User Type under distribute is selected as "ALL AUTHENTICATED USER" for the dashboard XYZ - Will it need Section Access to see who is Authenticated to view the dashboard?
What is the best possible solution or way to have the Session CAL license user under ABC windows AD group get access to the dashboard
