Hi,

On a button click can i write data in qlikview to database table??

Is this possible in qlikview??

If so,share some example document.

It can not be possible, if you want to store the changes into the database.

Yes we can update the qlikview data model with the help of dynamic update.

in QV 10 - we have to execute VB MAcros

in QV 11 - we have dynamic update functionality we can execute DML operation directly with the help of query.

later on using some logic we can write changes to the QVD and other type of files.

It means you need 3 static values to be stored in database table?

My guess, is that you need to update values of 3 fields shown in a chart, as per the input you do.

Well in any case, you can store the values in variables, access them in script and then refresh the qvd. Or please try Dynamic Update Action once.
