Hi, I am not sure what you mean by QV source.

You might be interested to look for QVX files, which can be built from any third application, using QV SDK. QVK data source can then be loaded very fast into QV.

Hi!

I wounder if I can use QV as a GUI to enter data in a form and store the data in a source.

What source is not important, it could be DB, plain file or anything.

I'll look at QVK

Dear Thomas,

Agree and it should be , But if this haapen then it removes the sence of business intelligence.

Main objective of qlikview is not to work as Frontend & Backend integration like .Net or Java technology .

Hi Thomas,

it is feasible to do this. I am getting the data from the user at runtime and storing it in the mysql database. Since Qlikview is a BI tool will not suggest to use for entering the data and loading in to database until unless the requirement is very critical and related to reporting. Rather we can use the other options like sunil suggested.
