Wrong sum but good values

Hello,

I'm new from a Qlikview.

I have an issue when i use the sum function

sum(distinct {$}(field1-field2)*field3)

The number which is returned is totally wrong whereas my values are true

I made some tests and i think the parenthses make it wrong.

Can you share a sample? One thing I would recommend it to cautiously use DISTINCT with Sum. It may not do what you think it might be doing. But without knowing much, I am not sure what your issue might be
