Year on year calculation

Hi There, I am new to Qlikview and struggling to create a year on year table. I have a table with months and years and would like to see the difference in sales figure for any period against the previous year.  I have checked a few solutions on hear but they seem quite technical.  One of the main difficulties I have is comparing to the same month in the previous year.
